Music roots & Pinky, the Gay Bear

We celebrated my grandpa’s birthday today – had a function over at Kovan Melody.

It was pretty interesting. My uncle came with his guitar setup (amps and all) and we had quite a time performing (with a good deal of missing chords and words. I’m bad at this memory thing.).

I’ve come to believe that all these rhythm and beats that float out of me actually came from my dad… Which seemed rather impossible given his very quiet and quite unexpressive disposition (also, he couldn’t play)… But I think there’re more musically inclined relatives on his side than mum’s.
